After serving Central Missouri clients through my architectural firm, Thompson / Architecture, since 1995 and after practicing architecture for over forty-two years, time came in 2006 to close my architectural practice and to concentrate more on other endeavors, including art. I continue to paint with the Columbia Palette, a group of 8-10 painters, on Wednesday mornings in and around Columbia, Missouri, and we exhibit our art in Columbia and surrounding communities. I have taught watercolor workshops for the Columbia Art League and watercolor / sketching for the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute in Columbia. Columbia Palette and I have a continuing exhibit of our work at their Columbia offices.
